If you are using it for relaxation, rub it close to your neck so that the fragrance can easily reach your nose because inhaling essential oils will give you a soothing relief. Ordinarily, massage can be used as a form of unwinding and exercise. Imagine the result when you incorporate these uplifting blends into the massage.

  • The carrier is a vegetable oil e.g. sweet almond oil and grape-seed oil.
  • The base is an oil with a high skin penetration potential.
  • The aromatic oils are plant extracts from roots, flowers, seeds, barks, etc. with therapeutic properties. They are usually very concentrated and are readily combined with a base. The concentration should be about 3% essential oil in a base; a greater % could irritate your skin.
