Whether we were raised by our biological mother or if we were adopted, or if our childhoods were the living epitome of the phrase ‘it takes a village to raise a child,’ and we were looked after by a bunch of women at once (especially in a loving spiritual or religious environment, such as a church), there has long been a specific day to celebrate mothers, or those who act as such, and Mother’s Day is coming up quickly!
