Herbal Baths and Their Benefits

In the busy, day-to-day hustle and bustle of the 21st century, it’s all too common to just hop in the shower for about fifteen or so minutes, wash your hair and body, rinse, shut off the water, dry and get dressed to go to work or school.

When we get home, we either flop down in front of the TV or computer to destress, only to add the negativity of the news, or other people’s lives on social media, to the psychic detritus floating around in our aetheric field. We go to bed with this stuff in our auras, which can, over time, manifest itself into illnesses that hit us out of left field. While this may seem out there to some, but in truth, everything is energy.

But what if we’re aware of the stress in our lives, and its sources, yet have no real way of getting rid of it altogether without making lots of drastic life changes that can affect other people in our family? What kind of small adjustments can we make to relax us and help purify us mentally, emotionally and physically?

One adjustment is an herbal bath. There are many ways you can add herbs to a hot, relaxing night-time bath, and many reasons why herbal baths help you. Here are two suggestions for you to try:

  • Salt Bath. A straight-up salt bath is a classic way to not only replenish salts in our body, but it acts as a “bad energy cleanse,” to rid us of all the lower vibes floating around us and getting stuck in our auric field. The equally great thing about salt baths is you can add different herbs or essential oils to salts (usually Epsom salts) to boost psychic cleansing, and add either a relaxing or invigorating vibration to the mixture. If you make your own, which is super easy, the sky’s truly the limit if you know what you need best.
  • Loose Herbs In a Bag. Place your herbs of choice in a drawstring bag and place over the faucet to steep in the water, allowing the essential oils to flow into the water. Avoid using super-hot water, as it can dry out your skin.

You can also go online and get Zen products for herbal baths in case you don’t feel like taking the time to make your own. However you find peace in your life, via an herbal bath, use your intuition to figure out which works for you.
