Description

I tried to return to Alexandria while Julius Caesar was in Egypt in 48 BC.

Cleopatra succeeded in infiltrating the ranks of her opponents after her brother, Ptolemy.

So, she suddenly appeared before Caesar, wrapped in a carpet (as mentioned in the narratives), so that she could beg him to help her achieve her goal. He fell in love with her, and Caesar helped her defeat her brother.

Thus began a historic relationship between Caesar and Cleopatra in the royal palace. He decided to stand by her and return her to the throne of Egypt.

But her brother’s guardians incited the masses of Alexandria against Cleopatra, and the army loyal to them advanced and besieged Caesar and Cleopatra in the royal palace, so the Alexandria War began, which Julius Caesar decided at the beginning of the year 47 BC after he received help, and it ended with the killing of King Ptolemy XIII and his aides, and Cleopatra assumed the throne. Egypt with her younger brother, Ptolemy XIV, and Caesar remained by her side for three months.

Cleopatra ruled for a few years and in the year 40 BC. M and her kingdom were part of Nasib, Marcus Antonius The death of Julius Caesar. Antony loved Cleopatra, and this love affair cost him the loss of favour in Rome.
